What's this play about?

“WHAT’S UP DOWN THERE” is a play about the things men like to talk about - sex, women, and genitals - as well as the ones men hate to discuss: impotence, incontinence, intimacy and rectal exams. The play shows the tragic, funny, human aspect of men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer. It also illuminates how these are not only men’s issues, but how they touch families as well as entire communities. The play is created by the Tony Award -winning director Kenny Leon. It is based entirely on the real-life stories of prostate cancer survivors and people whose lives have been affected by the disease.
